Is it common to do something like this before a wedding?

Three weeks before our wedding, my fiancé sent a message to his ex. This honestly shocked me. I need to address what happened, but how do I forget this situation? I feel like he isn't thinking of me, and I want to resolve this tension as soon as possible. What should I do?

I've had something similar happen to me too; during our wedding preparations, my girlfriend was messaging her ex. We had a pretty big fight over it, but it was hard to rebuild trust afterwards. It's a serious matter 😳

Such a thing is unacceptable before the wedding. Marriage is a serious matter, and families are involved. How can someone continue with the wedding in such a situation?

@kahvebitmeden maybe there was another reason for him to talk? It's silly to just say 'unacceptable' and dismiss it; first, we need to understand why he did it 🙄

If you saw the messages, be sure to save them or record them somewhere. If the discussion escalates in the future, you'll have something clear in hand. Also, ask directly why they did it 😳

Did they hide this from you or did they say it openly? Because this is important to understand their intention.

@pazardandondum actually, I noticed it myself, I saw it with the notification that came to your phone. He didn't say it himself. Then he tried to explain it but it didn't make sense to me.

@aklimkaldi this is even more troublesome. Why did he wait to get caught instead of saying it from the start? That's where a lot of questions lie.

@soncaykaldi keeping things under wraps is fine, but if you don't sit down and talk to sort this out before the wedding, it'll just get bigger. So it's not just about holding onto documents; you need to face it seriously.
