My spouse is constantly messaging on the phone inside the house, but I never go over to them. The other day they flipped their phone over, and I had some thoughts, but I guess I might be overreacting. Do you think this is a normal situation, or should I be looking into something?
My ex used to do things like this all the time, texting but never saying who it was. I later found out he was talking to his ex, for real. I don't know if your situation is the same, but sometimes intuition turns out to be right.
Sister, you need to be open in marriage. Things like this shouldn't be done. If my husband did it, I would speak directly, I wouldn't beat around the bush. There shouldn't be secrecy in the house.
@kahvebitmeden why do you say there shouldn't be privacy in the house? Everyone should have their own personal space, in my opinion. He’s not even looking at his phone, why are you accusing him right away?
If you're suspicious about your phone technically, it's hard to say anything without seeing the messages. But if a trust problem has started, you need to sit down and talk before it deepens. You're either right, or you're damaging the relationship.
Does this phone flipping thing happen all the time? Is this the first time you noticed something like this?
@pazardandondum had done it several times before, but I always held myself back wondering if I was exaggerating. This time, for some reason, I got more caught up in it.
@yazipsildim I think that's right too, getting married doesn't mean sharing everything after all. It can be something special, saying it's immediately cheating is ridiculous 🙄

A friend of mine had similar experiences; the guy keeps messaging his coworkers all the time. But since he didn't speak openly, the girl couldn't sleep for days. I would just say it directly.
Flipping the phone seems like a weak sign to me for such a suspicion. So I'm asking, does the guy have contradictions in his other behaviors? Or if there’s going to be such a fuss over everything that’s flipped, how will there be a relaxed marriage? 😮💨
