My spouse turned their phone upside down and went to their room

I had a similar situation happen to me too; my spouse used to always leave the phone turned upside down for a while. At first, it was eating me up inside, so I couldn't resist asking. It turns out they had closed some group chats to escape work stress and were placing the phone like that to avoid notifications. So, it doesn't necessarily have to be something bad, but without asking, there's not much inner peace.

How long has he/she been acting like this? Is this the first time he's/she's done it?
