My wife’s sister keeps talking about my nose indirectly. She says things like, “You’re very sweet, but your nose is a bit bigger than average,” or “You’ll be perfect with a little surgery.” She doesn’t directly say to get surgery, but I feel the pressure. My wife is neutral about it, saying, “It’s up to you.” It doesn’t bother me at first, but the more she talks, I start to wonder. Am I being insecure while trying to resist such things? What do you think?
