My fiancée showed me a message from her ex-boyfriend.

There are two months left until the wedding, everything seemed fine, but yesterday my fiancé showed me a message from his ex. The message said things like, 'I hope you are really happy, you always deserved it.' Is it a good thing for him to show it to me, or should he have kept quiet and blocked it? I feel weird; is he trying to show me trust, or is there still something there? As the wedding approaches, my confusion is growing.

I think it was a good move to show it; his ex didn't write anything that important. I mean, what difference does it make if you say 'I hope you are happy'? Whether you say it or not, it's no big deal. Just forget about it and don't worry.

@soncaykaldi this is actually the second time, but the first time was something very insignificant, he just blocked me. That's why I'm so confused about this.

It is possible to read this as a sign of trust, but the main issue is that the fiancé should directly remove the ex from their life. If messages keep coming, they may not have set clear personal boundaries.
