My roommate goes into the bathroom, uses it but doesn't leave it clean. There are hairs and soap residue everywhere. I quietly fix and clean it up, but this can't go on like this. Could it be that they haven't noticed that they're not cleaning up? If I say something, will it lead to a fight, or can we find a solution?
I also experienced the same issue when I stayed at the dorm. Maybe a little visible cleaning would make them embarrassed if they see it? But you never know, it might be better to talk directly 😅

The cleaning routine and all that is nice, but not everyone understands these things the same way. Maybe in that person's culture or family, it's never been a concern. I mean, when we say 'it's not clean,' their perception of 'clean' might be different.
