We live together at home, two girls. My friend is really easygoing, she thinks that if I like someone, I can bring them over whenever I want. But I'm concerned about our neighbors and my family, who gave conditional permission just because we live as girls. How should I manage a guest coming at night? I don't know if I should stay quiet or say something.
What kind of logic is this? Just because my family gave permission, does that mean your friend's private life will come to a halt? You should have moved from the start then.
I've been in a similar situation; whenever I tried to say something, my friend would get offended. As a last resort, we banned staying over at night, and peace returned.

In such situations, your boundaries in shared spaces should be clear. You can calmly explain your discomfort and kindly ask them not to stay on certain days. This is your right.
