The phenomenon of the couple's marriage promise: Real love or a YouTube show?

There's a YouTube couple I watch, and sometimes it really feels like they're just acting for the camera. The other day, they announced they're getting married, but am I the only one noticing the tension between them? Or am I overreacting? Do you think they're really happy, or is this just another content tactic? I mean, aren't we tired of seeing fake relationships?

I used to follow a couple like that for a while; everything looked great, but then they broke up. It turns out they were always filming after fights in their videos. The woman even mentioned in a podcast that the mention of marriage was just a ploy to gain followers. I mean, as viewers, we’re always being fooled.

My girlfriend once said, "The so-called phenomena are actually just making money by treating us like fools." Honestly, sometimes she's right in her comments. I think they enter into marriage and such things as a parody. Don't look for sincerity around here.

But I didn't understand one thing, did you notice the coldness specifically in your videos or somewhere else? For example, are they saying different things lately or are they keeping separate?

It can be hard to understand true happiness, but let me give you a hint: Compare couples' videos to those from a year or two ago. If the energy is drastically different from before, something usually has changed. You might find it helpful 😂

I think there's definitely a whiff of PR in this. They usually make an announcement to draw people's attention and then they don't fade from the agenda until there's a major crisis. Just think about what saying you're getting married can open the door to.

In social media couples, there is a situation referred to as 'showy marriage.' In psychology, it is known as creating a 'perspective distortion' with false happiness visuals. Viewers believe in this illusion, but it is impossible to know the couple's real dynamics without a psychotherapist or close acquaintances. That’s why it’s hard to say whether it’s real or a show.

Let me just add that when I say coldness, sometimes there's this vibe of someone behaving more distant. For instance, the other day, the guy didn't react at all to the woman's joke, and in that moment, I felt embarrassed. I mean, those little moments make me feel like it's all fake.

I swear I think the exact opposite, everyone is piling on celebrities in an exaggerated way. Maybe we're overanalyzing. Relationships have their ups and downs, I mean, just because they're in front of the camera doesn't mean they have to be perfect 🙄
