I took a pregnancy test, but should I keep the result to myself?

I think you should see a doctor without wasting any time. If the test comes back positive, get a doctor's confirmation so your decision is definite. You could also casually ask your boyfriend, 'Should we go to the doctor’s appointment together?' That might help you feel less anxious.

But if you know you’re not ready, why did you take such a risk? I mean, getting pregnant without properly formalizing the relationship seems a bit unstable. If your boyfriend is saying, 'are we ready?' maybe he’s not really on board with this kind of thing.

It's very normal to feel anxious during this process, as the mental burden increases along with hormonal changes.
