I have swelling below my abdomen, should I see a doctor?

I've noticed a swelling in the lower part of my abdomen, right below the belly button, for the past week. It's not very hard, but it feels slightly painful when I touch it. My period isn't approaching, is this normal, or should I go to the doctor right away? Is this something related to gynecological issues? Honestly, I feel quite embarrassed about this.

I experienced the same thing; I noticed a swelling under my belly. I ended up with an ovarian cyst and went to see a gynecologist. If it’s not related to your period, I don’t think you should wait for no reason; these things can grow.

So does this swelling stay all the time or does it go up and down sometimes? And does it hurt when you touch it or does it hurt out of the blue? They make some things noticeable.

My daughter, don't feel embarrassed or ashamed about things like this. There's no shame in going to the doctor. If you were my daughter, I would take you by the hand and take you there; you should see a gynecologist right away.

I noticed something today: the pain is less when I wake up in the morning, but it increases throughout the day when I touch it. The swelling seems to stay constant, not going down or up.

I swear, I'm sorry but if you're too lazy to go to the doctor, what will happen if something bad occurs? People need to take their health seriously. Also, there's nothing to be embarrassed about; everyone goes to the doctor.

Since you mentioned the lower abdominal area, it could be related to gynecological issues, potentially concerning the ovaries or uterus. However, it could also be something else stemming from the intestines or urinary tract. The best course of action would be to visit a gynecologist, who can refer you to a different specialist if necessary.
