How do I tell my family if I accidentally get pregnant?

I can't sleep because of fear. My period is 6 days late, and we had an unprotected moment. I don't know what to do if I'm pregnant. There's family pressure, and my boyfriend and I don't want to get married. Has anyone gone through something like this, how did you cope?

I panicked because of my period delay too; it turned out to be stress-related. But if it comes to unprotected sex, I think it's best to take a test first. Because mine was just stress, but I couldn't sit still without being sure.

If there has been a 6-day delay, get a pregnancy test from the pharmacy and take it with the first morning urine, as it gives a more accurate result. If it comes back positive, you need to think about what comes next without hesitation. A doctor or counseling may also be necessary.

But your partner said "we can handle it together," so why are you not sure? Are you afraid that they might not take it as seriously? I mean, maybe there are other reasons 😅

"It's been 6 days, and you're saying an unprotected moment happened. Frankly, why didn't you think about this risk from the beginning? If you don't want to marry your girlfriend, you need to pay more attention to things like this."

Guys, I took a test in the morning, it came back negative. But there's still a delay, I feel a bit relieved but not completely. Those who say it's due to stress might be right.

When you get a negative result, you might feel a bit relieved, but still have it checked if delays turn into irregularities. These are important for women's health. Even vaginal infections can sometimes cause delays.

Honestly, tests should have been done before panicking anyway, now you might feel a bit more relaxed. Still, talk about these things with your partner, because saying 'we'll handle it together' sounds nice, but the stress always ends up landing on you.

How is this logic even reasonable? It's hard not to ask 'why aren't you being careful?' If you get into a relationship, you have to take some responsibility. When your period is late, you end up feeling nauseous and can't sleep—doesn't that risk matter?

But if it's been 6 days, one tends to think you must be pregnant, especially since you haven't distanced yourself from your partner and you've talked. Maybe the test was wrong too?
