my ex once posted a photo on my birthday and wrote "forever" underneath it, but it turned out they were chatting with someone else at the time. I would say the same thing could be happening with you, but maybe they just wrote it in a "friendly" way. I think you should ask! 🙃

Saying "you look really beautiful just by yourself" isn't too much, but the fact that he's an ex is problematic. However, I think over-analyzing this is harmful to you. Just ask him directly.
If @aklimkaldi is looking at the story, they might be doing it to make someone jealous or they could be trying to project the image that there's no problem with their ex. I think there might be something left between them or we might be completely caught off guard.
you've written the title a bit exaggerated, just for someone who made a comment you're dramatizing it by saying "the day they called me my life" and so on 🙄
