5I went through the same thing, you know. He was constantly texting his ex, saying stuff like, ‘We’re just friends’ and all that. Then one day I realized that their relationship wasn’t over; they were still talking regularly. Honestly, I broke up without hesitation because my trust dropped to zero. I think you should talk to him; you’ll feel uneasy until you learn the whole story.
So, did he do this for the first time? Did you suspect anything beforehand? Because sometimes these things can pile up.
@rumuz2 actually not for the first time. Last year, they liked a photo with their ex as well, and they said ‘so what?’. But writing feels different to me 
@rumuz1 it seems ridiculous to attribute this completely to betrayal. You can’t say that every ex who messages is cheating. Sometimes people genuinely stay friends, there’s no need to look for hidden motives
