I can normally lend her money, but do you think it’s appropriate to ask for something like that in public? Is it just my pride that’s hurt?
I mean, I had a similar experience with my ex too; honestly, it was in even more embarrassing situations, not in public. But I must have felt bad at that moment, yes. I can’t say I can forget the hatred, of course.
