I’ve been really curious about the new eyebrow contour trend and decided to get it done. However, as I was undergoing the process, it seems like the color turned out a bit darker than the natural tone I wanted. My friends who have had it done said, “It always looks like this the first week, then it settles down,” but I’m still scared to look in the mirror. Do you think they’re right, or did it turn out pretty badly? I feel like if it doesn’t go back to looking natural, I’ll feel worse.
That’s normal, it always feels dark in the first week. I had the same thing happen to me, then it lightened up and settled completely. I think you should wait about 10 days.
Did you approve the color choice before doing the brows, or did they just go with whatever they felt like? Is there any detail you missed?
@soncaykaldi they showed the color selection, but the final result didn’t look like this to me; I didn’t understand if it darkened during the process.
@makarnaoncesi come on, stop with the “this always happens” stuff. If it didn’t hold paint, what are you gonna do? It doesn’t mean everyone has to end up the same way ![]()
It’s normal for the color to oxidize and look darker in the first week after contouring. It will peel and lighten within 1-2 weeks. But if you’re very uncomfortable, go to the treated area and request a check-up.
By the way, I wish you would write in detail when bringing up these topics. Which day, how dark, there’s not even a photo. How are we supposed to comment?
