I got my eyebrows done permanently, and my husband didn't even notice!

I thought about it for months, stretched my budget, and got permanent eyebrows done, and in the end, the result was very natural. But honestly, I wanted my husband to notice and say something; I waited for a comment, but zero reaction. We go through all this effort, but is the outcome not obvious, or do men really not notice the details? Do you think it was worth all this fuss?

I had microblading done too, and at first, it seemed overly natural and light to me as well. My husband noticed but just asked, 'Did you do something to your face?' and moved on. So, some men don't notice, while others might notice but don't show it. Maybe he did notice but didn't want to pursue the topic?

Look, to be honest, I think you need to exaggerate a bit for your partner to pay attention. If you'd highlighted it a bit with makeup, it would have stood out more. Doing it permanently, of course, makes it look more natural; the guy might not have noticed 🙄

You've had your eyebrows done but your spouse hasn't noticed; that's fine, but I don't understand this: why don't you consult your spouse before making a decision? In any marriage, this is a joint decision. You should share not just your money, but also the changes.

Let me generally say this about permanent makeup: if the procedure is done very naturally, it won't be noticeable at first glance. It rather softens or enhances the overall expression on the face. So, if your partner doesn't notice it, it may actually indicate the success of the procedure.

Thank you so much for the comments, friends! Let me add this: Before I got my eyebrows done, they were really sparse and uneven, there were a lot of gaps. Now when I look in the mirror, I see myself looking more organized and put together. But I still can’t figure out what my husband thinks.

So, I will ask you this: they say that when you get your eyebrows done, they are super dark for the first few days, did that happen to you? Did you not notice it then? Or has it looked natural since the very first stage?

There's something else here for me. Most spouses notice a change but don't want to show it. It felt to me like they intentionally didn't comment. Did they say something about your eyebrows before, or are they always unresponsive to things like this? 😐

Honestly, I was annoyed by my spouse's complete lack of reaction. I mean, you've put in the effort, spent money, and they should at least say 'oh, it looks nice.' When you put in so much work, you want to receive a little appreciation.

Permanent eyebrow procedures generally require regular maintenance; for example, have you been using moisturizer? Don't stress about whether the guy noticed, after all, when you got it done, you said it was 'for myself,' right? That's important.
