Am I not living my own life?

My family follows my friends' posts on social media and asks me questions about them. This makes me uncomfortable, and I feel like my freedom is being restricted. I love them, but this level of interference puts me in a difficult position. What should I do? I don't understand why my private life is so important to them.

I had similar situations too, but they didn't pry that much. One time, they directly asked, 'Why are you hanging out with someone from that school?' It got really ridiculous. They managed to pull it together a bit when we talked 🙄

Is it something you experienced or are they just listening to stories? If they're following all of it, that's a serious situation 😳

@cokdaseyapma people especially watch stories, but they also check who liked what in the posts. The question 'who is this and why is it like this' keeps coming up.

@camkenari if you're sharing this much information, you have to take some responsibility too, so don't share so much. If you want it to be private, you shouldn't be on social media 🫠

most likely a desire to check. cutting off the conversation in these types of situations in the family only escalates the same issue later. speak directly and express your discomfort. if they continue to follow, stop sharing for a while.

how do you deal with this much stalking? I'd go crazy.

@yazipsildim quitting social media won't solve the problem. family is already involved in everything; the real solution is to talk.

@valla_soruyorum I'm talking, but they don't understand. In their eyes, I'm still seen as a child.

So, let's make it clear, so they understand. It's tough if it goes on like this, but don't give up.
