There's a woman I don't know in my husband's friend list

My husband never hinted at it, but I recently noticed he added a woman to his friend list. What shows up on her profile seems normal, but I hadn't heard her name in such a long time. Should I ask him about it, would that make me seem suspicious? Or is there a way for me to find out on my own? What would you do in a situation like this?

I think you should ask openly, what's wrong with that? You can ask, 'I saw someone named X on your friend list, who is that?' You can tell from their pauses or comfort level when they answer. Trying to learn on your own creates unnecessary stress.

I noticed something like this once too. First, I checked out their profile, then I waited before asking who they were. I felt relieved when I saw the woman in another friend's photo before that. So maybe it could be someone from your mutual circle. But if it's eating you up inside, I suggest you talk about it.

This uncertainty is really eating away at you from the inside. The thought of 'is there really something going on?' keeps coming to mind, right? Especially when it's someone who hasn't been mentioned for a long time, it can feel more suspicious. I'd say don't wear yourself out, but there's always a question left in your mind.

Now most men don’t even think about how it will be perceived when adding someone to their friend list. Maybe they are a colleague or just someone from their social circle. It's normal to think a lot because she is a woman that stands out, but directly suspecting would be unfair.

Such situations vary according to relationship dynamics. However, if you generally feel a trust issue, first evaluate it within yourself and then share it in an open, non-accusatory manner. You might say, 'I felt this way, and I was wondering why.' Transparency is always a two-way street.

Now let me get back to you. As I said, the profile looks normal, but then I noticed that we have a mutual friend, although I know it's not related to that person. That's why I still can't figure it out completely. But I'm also hesitant to directly ask, 'who is this?' Maybe a coworker?

I think the main issue is your thinking of whether you might be 'suspicious'. There is clearly an unstable power dynamic at play. You hesitate to ask your partner the simplest question about their life. In a relationship, equality is just as important as trust. It's normal for a woman to add to the relationship, but hiding things is not.
