The hairdresser cut my hair too short, I can't get it to look good?

Girls, last week I wanted to trim my hair a bit and style it, but the hairdresser completely transformed me into a different person. I can't even look at myself in the mirror. I feel so bad that I don't want to go out and mingle with people. If you've experienced something like this, how did you get through it? Do you have any advice?

Honey, I remember once I cut my hair and got bangs, and I literally cried when I looked in the mirror. At that time a friend told me to wear a scarf or something, so my hair wouldn't be the focus. Honestly, it worked; maybe you could consider it.

My daughter, this is something every woman goes through. If I had a daughter, I would say, why would you go to a hairstylist you don't know again? Now, no giving up, go to another hairstylist and ask them to fix your hair 😅

Girl, I think you've been a bit unclear too. For example, if you don't tell the hairdresser something like 'cut this much' clearly, he'll just do it however he wants. Plus, you can't trust good intentions in this day and age 😐

Such situations can seriously affect self-confidence. Hair is directly linked to appearance. If you're feeling bad, you can make adjustments in the short term with accessories or hats; in the long term, you might consider hair growth serums.

Thank you everyone. By the way, I forgot to mention, I actually had the cut done at a salon famous for its last name. I thought it would be safe, but they cut it very differently. I only asked for the ends to be trimmed, but they kept shortening it as they went.

I understand you feel really bad, but it's actually a common thing. Hairstylists sometimes love to add their own touch. Honestly, be patient, it will get better in a couple of months. In the meantime, try using waves; the short hair style can pull it off.

Look at the men’s hairdressers; if a guy says, 'just trim the ends, clean up the neck,' they don’t budge an inch. But with women, they somehow feel entitled to cut too much. This is something done without your consent, stand up for your rights.

Oh, you're talking about that knot in your throat in front of the mirror. You wake up in the morning and look, it's still the same... I really understand. Grab a few cute stickers, at least they'll make you smile.

I once asked for a bob cut, but it ended up being a blunt cut. Since my hair is thick, it looked just like a pot lid. Later, I learned that trying to soften it out every week or so helps. I had added some layers and got rid of it.
