I fell victim to the hairdresser's wrath, my hair turned into complete hay

I’m seriously devastated from crying, I paid so much money to supposedly go to the best place, but they literally burned my hair. The roots are orange and the ends are breaking off, it literally comes off in my hands with every touch. My husband says it won’t be a big deal, but I can’t look in the mirror. Is there a way to save this hair without cutting it, or should I just go ahead and grab the scissors? Honestly, I don’t know.

Your partner says nothing happened, but that corn silk look is totally off-putting. So for which treatment did you go, that they took so much money and left your hair like this?

the fact that the nails stay orange and the tips cling to your hands with every touch is really traumatizing. you asked if it can be fixed easily, but honestly, once those breaks start, it’s not going to be fixed without cutting.
