Should I get a check-up for my stomach pain?

I haven't been able to shake off my stomach pain for the last few weeks. Sometimes there's burning after meals too. My partner joked, "You must have gone to bed hungry," but I think it could be serious. Should I go see a doctor, or should I wait a bit longer and try some things at home?

I had the same thing happen to me, I developed reflux. My stomach would burn when I was very hungry in the mornings. Still, I had a test done, and I felt at ease.

Does the dizziness happen after eating? Do you wake up at night with pain, for example?

@cokdaseyapma actually it sometimes burns even at night, but it happens more after meals. Of course, it hurts when I'm hungry too.

@uykuarasi it's silly to say everyone has reflux; it might actually be an ulcer or something. You won't know until you see a doctor.

It would be better if you go to general surgery or gastroenterology. If looked at with an endoscopy, the issue will become clearer. Acid reflux, gastritis, ulcer... we shouldn't speak definitively.

what's the deal with the phrase 'you must have been starving until this morning,' as if everyone's problems can be solved that simply?

Doctor is a must. Solve it at home.

make an appointment with the gastroenterologist. Write down what you ate before the meal and during the pain, you will explain it in detail to the doctor.
