My sister has started hanging out with her ex-boyfriend and just told me about it. It's something that makes her happy, but I still can't quite get used to this situation. So how should I react to this? Am I thinking about it wrong?

My brother was meeting up with his ex for a while, and everyone misunderstood the situation. Turns out he was just trying to close an account. Maybe yours is something like that too 🙄

If they were a friend, why did they feel the need to inform you? I think you're right to be confused.

There are generally research studies that see being friends with an ex as having a high risk of infidelity. But it's not always like that. You know better how honest your sibling is. They've already stated it clearly; it's a matter of trust.
If you see that this is going on, I think you should sit down and openly ask, 'This situation bothers me, why are you still in contact?' It's not good to keep imagining things in your head.
