My period is two weeks late, could I be pregnant?

My period is officially two weeks late and I don't know what to do. I'm completely stressed out; I'm afraid to take a test because if I do it early, the result might be wrong. I'm wondering if there could be another reason for it, but I don't know for sure. I'm both panicking and extremely indecisive about what to do if the test comes back false negative or positive. What do you think I should do?

Doing the test with morning urine gives healthier results, that's true. But if there's a two-week delay, I think it's time for the test. Do you have any irregularities with your period? Sometimes it's due to stress, but two weeks is a bit too much.

I remember my period was ten days late once, and I regretted not going to the doctor right away. There might be another issue; it would be better to talk to a gynecologist. A test will relieve you from this stress, so don't wait for no reason.

But why did you wait so long to do the test? You're the one suffering from the fear. You might be scared of the wrong results, but you really need to take the two-week delay seriously now 😅

Ev tests provide more accurate results when done with morning urine, your friend was right. But if your period is delayed like yours has been for two weeks, a blood test would yield clearer results. It measures hormone levels precisely, and you can get the results on the same day at the doctor's.

I wanted to go back. I thought about it thoroughly while lying down, and I decided to take a test in the morning. But I usually don't have irregular periods, so I'm a bit more anxious.

If you’re talking about having regular periods, why are you acting so relaxed? If you’re regular, you should be more careful, it’s ridiculous. You’ll feel better once you take a test, don’t stress yourself for no reason.

Everyone here says to take a test, but no one has talked about the biological effects of stress. Maybe it was just delayed due to tension? How many times do people take a test and then get their period? Are we going to talk based on that?
