I said 2 cm off my hair, they cut 10 cm

Last week I went to the hairdresser; I only wanted to get 2 cm trimmed off the ends. But the hairdresser, bless them, didn’t hold back and literally cut my hair by 10 cm. I can’t describe how upset I was when I left. I put on my hat and walked out. Now, I’m trying to get used to it while looking in the mirror, and at the same time, I’m thinking about how I’ll trust again. What do you think should be done in situations like this? Should I react or just accept it?

What kind of logic is this! You specifically say 2 cm, and the guy cuts 10 cm. This is not how work gets done.

but you could have looked in the mirror and warned yourself, you shouldn’t have let her do something you didn’t want before picking up the scissors

I’m going to ask you something, is the hairdresser the same every time you go? Or is it someone new? Is the trust factor already zero? :face_exhaling:

@uykuarasi same here, I always go to this hairdresser. But they never cut it this short before.

@iki_dakika I think you’re right, it’s a serious problem. If the same thing happened to me, I would literally cry out of frustration.

Actually, a lot of people experience this. Most hairdressers cut a bit extra to balance the hair while correcting it. But they definitely need to ask the customer. :grimacing:

they traumatized me in high school like this too. I went in with a 5 cm haircut and came out with a short bob. yours is still okay.

I think you shouldn’t make a mountain out of a molehill. Everyone already manages their own hair, next time you can explain it clearly and move on :slightly_smiling_face:
