Did the pandemic period age my face behind the mask?

It feels like after the masks during the pandemic, wrinkles and acne scars have started accumulating on my face. My skin was already very sensitive, and now this has come on top of that. How can I return to my old smooth self? Should I try traditional natural recipes or give serums a chance? What do you recommend?

My skin is also very sensitive, especially during the pandemic it got really bad. Masks caused redness and acne on my face all the time. To alleviate this a bit, I made a tonic with rosewater morning and evening. Turning to natural things has helped me, but if you don't do it regularly, it doesn't work, let me tell you that.

Honey, I don't think the problem on your face is just the mask; I believe it's a lack of overall care. My daughter has sensitive skin, and I buy her doctor-recommended products. First thing, get a serum, but not just any from the herbalist; it should be dermocosmetic.

You mentioned my old smooth self, but is your skincare routine the same as it was before the pandemic? Maybe it’s not the masks, but a change in your routine that's causing this? Have you thought about any differences among the things you’ve tried?

If acne scars and wrinkles occur at the same time, it is usually due to the use of masks clogging the pores. However, wrinkles are mainly caused by a lack of moisture. I think you should consult a dermatologist to learn about both pore cleansing and moisturizing combinations.

Yeah, when I wake up in the morning, my skin feels tight like it's dry, and then when I look in the mirror, it's all wrinkly... Before, a little moisturizer was enough, but now it seems like it doesn’t work anymore. It makes sense to try rosewater, but I think I’ll also research modern products.

The real question is this: has the effect of natural remedies been proven in the long term? Most of the time, people try them out of hope, but it either ends up with acne or allergies. Even though serum is expensive, it comes with a guarantee, so I think it's not worth the risk.
