My partner looked carefully at my face last night, and then said my pores were a bit noticeable. They also suggested a cream, something they heard from a friend. I don't understand, is this good intentions or is it a hint? They didn't talk like this before, I'm a bit confused. Do you think this is normal?
My ex used to do something similar; one day, she commented on my makeup-free photo, asking, "Should we look for a solution for these dark circles under your eyes?" It's not nice, of course, but sometimes the intention may not be bad. I mean, when it comes to pores, it doesn't bother everyone that much, right? How do you perceive yourself?
So what did you say then? I mean, things like this need to be talked about. If they have such traits even while married, wouldn't that be difficult? Does a person really point out flaws so openly to someone they love? 😅

@soran that part where they go "I wanted to help" totally killed me. It's so cliché. They always think about how to say it without being harsh, and that's how they end up saying it.

When pores are filled with blackheads, won't that lead to acne later? That's what I know. In fact, the pores don't even shrink; it's something permanent. Why have you dragged it out?
@mahrem_saf there's no such thing. Pores can shrink, and many people manage to improve with a good skincare routine. But if your partner constantly comments on it, why bother? There should be a limit; not everything needs to be said.
