My cousin has shown my girlfriend's social media posts to my mom. When I found out, I was completely shocked; it's as if my private life has been completely exposed. Is this normal? What should I do about sharing my own decisions?
My cousin once took a picture of my girlfriend and sent it to the family group, claiming it was just for fun, but the whole thing blew up so much that we talked about it for a week. It's so annoying.
to be honest, if you don't keep an eye on things like this from the beginning, you shouldn't be surprised when it gets talked about in the family. we don't really have personal lives here anyway, it's usually told to your mom and dad 😳
@kahvebitmeden how do you take control? Is she going to report her cousin to the police? Or is she going to tell her mom to stay out of her private business? It sounds ridiculous to me.
I think you should make your social media accounts private and only follow people you trust. You also need to think twice before sharing because everyone carries what they see 🫠
Has your cousin done things like this before? I mean, if this is the first incident, maybe they can just shrug it off as a "joke," but if it happens often, a serious talk might be necessary.
@pazardandondum this isn’t actually the first time. He had exaggerated some things before and shared them with my mom, but it didn’t blow up like this. This time it feels like he’s literally exposing our privacy 🙄
