Sweet cravings are ruining my diet
I started a diet, but I can't help but have sweet cravings. On one hand, I want to lose weight, but on the other hand, sweets drive me crazy. I don't know how to cope; I seriously feel dizzy from not eating sweets.

this job is tough
I got through that phase by eating dates every day for a while, but if that doesn't work, maybe you can manage it with a small portion of dessert 🤦♀️
How many weeks have you been on a diet by the way? Maybe your body hasn't gotten used to the duration.
@yazipsildim I've been doing this for about 3 weeks now and I'm consuming around 1300-1400 calories a day 🫣
If you’re constantly craving sweets, it seems like there’s an issue with your diet. Maybe your body is attacking sweets because it wants carbohydrates. You might be planting the wrong seeds 😳
@pazardandondum every diet doesn't have to be this strict; if it's about carb deprivation, you can also fill up with vegetables.
I think you can satisfy your sweet tooth with frozen fruits or cocoa-yogurt mixes. You'll get natural sugar and won't exceed your calorie limit 🤷♀️
If you can't completely cut out sweets, manage with small portions, but make sure it's not an everyday habit. You think the solution will be with dates, but everyone finds a working alternative through a bit of trial and error. 🤭
To get through sweet cravings, you might try increasing the fat in your meals a bit. When I was eating a low-fat diet for a while, I found myself wanting sweets more, but adding some nuts like hazelnuts/walnuts helped decrease that. The body sometimes gets mixed signals when it comes to energy.
