I lost 25 kilos, but the sagging is bringing me down

Girls, I've lost 25 kilos in 6 months and I feel better when I look in the mirror now. But there's a problem, I have really bad sagging in my arms and legs. I'm considering cosmetic surgery, but I'm scared, you know, it's expensive and I'm not sure what my friends will think. Has anyone gone through this, will it get better, what should I do?

First of all, congratulations on losing 25 kilos; that's quite an achievement! But skin sagging is normal, especially if the change happened so quickly, as your body might struggle to catch up. I think before considering aesthetics, try doing some Pilates or weight training for a while. I've seen many people tighten up through exercise, and it might work for you too.

I completely understand your fears; when it comes to aesthetics, everyone has crazy questions in their minds. But if you look in the mirror right now and feel unhappy, it may be healthier to fix that with a permanent solution. And don't worry about what others might think; this life is yours after all.

Did you lose 25 kilos this fast? Six months isn't little, your metabolism or something else might have been affected. I think you should consult a doctor first; the sagging could be due to excessive muscle loss or something like that. Instead of directly solving it with aesthetics, you should see the underlying cause.

Skin sagging is actually very much dependent on skin elasticity and age. If you're young, there's a higher chance of firming up, but it still takes time to completely go away through natural methods. Collagen supplements, regular exercise, and practices like massage can be supportive. However, if the situation is quite serious, it's a good idea to consult an aesthetic doctor and discuss the risks.

Thank you all. I actually exercise, but it's very light stuff, so maybe that's why I haven't recovered. Now I'm thinking of trying weight training, and I wondered if it would have any effect if I also use some collagen.
