We've talked for 3 months but he/she isn't asking to meet, why?

I’ve been chatting with someone for 3 months, everything was going very well but I still haven’t received a request to meet. Honestly, I can’t tell if I’ve waited too long or if they are not serious. How can I understand this? Should I push the issue?

3 months is quite a long time; did you ever have conversations like ā€˜when will we see each other?’ with each other? I mean, did you give any hints to them about wanting to meet up?

The uncertainty is so bad… waking up in the morning wondering if they will ask today, and then nothing happens again is really exhausting. It literally stresses you out.

To be frank, I think you might not be very clear either. Maybe he thinks he’s ā€˜not wanting to disturb you.’ Some guys wait for a hint; it’s not a guessing game.

Just ask directly, ā€œWhen are we meeting?ā€ Be polite but still clear. If they say, ā€œI need more time,ā€ don’t worry, you’ll understand.

Let me add that I actually said openly once, ā€˜when will we meet?’ and back then, she said something like ā€˜I might need more time.’ But I didn’t press the issue too much either.

If he were serious, he would have turned it into a meeting immediately. Three months is a long time, and it’s very clear he has no intention. Don’t fall for someone who just wants to kill time.

Girl, don’t waste your energy on indecisive guys like that. If I were you, I’d speak up clearly. If he isn’t going to meet, he should make it clear. No one can steal anyone’s time.

As a man, I can say that the phrase ā€œI need more timeā€ generally means ā€œI haven’t quite figured you out in my head yet.ā€ It indicates that he’s confused or not very enthusiastic.
