Even my mom said 'think about aesthetics'

Well, the same thing happened to me. At my university graduation, they always teased me about my nose in the photos. Back then, I couldn't stand it and went for plastic surgery. I'm very happy now, but not because someone else wanted it, I did it because I was uncomfortable. If you don’t want it for yourself, forget the pressure.

If it was such a big deal, why didn't you know about it at that wedding? If it's bothering you, why don't you ever ask yourself? Maybe you haven't even noticed it yourself 😅

@ters_kose I actually always thought my nose was a bit noticeable, but I didn't know it was annoying enough to be talked about this much. To be honest, I was really comfortable until my mom mentioned it 🫠

It's really frustrating to hear people talk about my nose and face like this. Forcing people into aesthetic pressures is quite a serious problem. The small noses that are in fashion now will be something else in 10 years. What's going to happen, will we keep changing constantly? We need to learn to set boundaries with an environment that plays with your self-confidence.

'They said, "If you get a nose job, your face will look thinner." How is this a way to break someone's heart? You can't achieve thinness through aesthetic procedures; people should speak with their conscience first.

@nesnelestirme_elestirmeni you say it's a limit, but in which year in Turkey was there an environment where you could convey such subtle thoughts within the family? I'm looking at how you can say such bold things in the neighborhood.
