I felt sick from hunger while dieting

I was on a diet, and it was a really strict regimen; I seriously experienced hunger crises. But I was so stubborn that I not only didn't eat anything, I even forgot to drink water. Result: I felt faint yesterday afternoon while working. Do you think I should give up on trying to lose weight, or should I continue in a controlled manner? Share your own experiences, am I alone in this situation?

I went through the same thing, I had been on a zero-carb diet for weeks. I left home in the morning without having breakfast, then at noon I was at the shopping mall, and suddenly my vision went dark at the checkout. Turns out my blood pressure had dropped to 7. I've messed myself up because of that diet; you can't do this without listening to your body.

I swear I feel sad reading this as an outsider. It seems like there's a lot of pressure to look thin. But it should be about health, right? Why treat yourself so harshly? I think it's not about weight, but about energy. The weight at which you feel good is your ideal weight.

I used to be like that too, just hanging out with coffee. Especially if I had an 8 a.m. class, I would go in with less stuff just to be lighter. But one day I ended up falling down in class, I literally just collapsed. My friends teased me, asking if I was crazy, but I managed to pull myself together. I think we shouldn't go to such extremes, you know?

Sweetheart, you need to be a bit careful about this weight business. If I had a daughter, I would never let her starve herself like that. You see, feeling sick when you're hungry means you're putting a strain on your organs. Go see a doctor and learn to do this diet thing in a balanced way.

The situation is really bad, it feels like everything is disappearing from sight. I experienced it once right in the subway; I tried to hold on, but it felt like my hands couldn't grip anything. I definitely think you should be a bit careful, because things like this affect you both physically and psychologically. And don't neglect drinking water; I think that's what really wears you down.

Look, my daughter, it doesn't work like this. Sure, being slim is important, but what will you do when your health goes down the drain? I've seen people around me who are sick just to look like a fashion model. You need to learn how to cook a little, to eat well. We didn't have such problems back in the day.

Actually, this is a very common situation. People often enter into such diets without knowing their bodies well enough. You probably created too large of a calorie deficit or disrupted your water balance. I think everything could be more sustainable with a balanced program. Don't panic, but definitely have it checked.

I think the issue might not just be in your diet plan, but in your daily habits too. For example, your sleep pattern, stress level, or the intensity of your workouts could also be affecting things like this. Have you ever tried controlling those? The body is a whole after all, it balances out not just with what we eat, but with our overall lifestyle.
