Wrote to his ex-girlfriend three weeks before the wedding

I caught a message on my fiancé’s phone that he wrote to his ex, I didn’t see it by coincidence, it caught my eye when the phone rang. It’s not a long conversation, but why would he do something like this? There’s three weeks left until the wedding, and I don’t know how to process this situation. Do you think I should listen to his explanation and let it go, or should I think more seriously about it?

If they are doing this three weeks in advance, I think there’s a clear trust issue. I had a similar situation with my fiancée; she said it was ‘friendly,’ but two months later, more came out that she had been talking behind my back. I don’t know, I think you shouldn’t trust the explanation.

What exactly did the message say? Does it clearly have a flirty vibe or is it just something like ‘how are you’?

@iki_dakika wrote something like, “Hello, it’s been a long time, how are you?” Then there are a few more messages, but they didn’t prolong the conversation much.

@yaziksakiz I think you’re exaggerating. Talking to every ex isn’t a danger; a person might just be curious about the past. Should we generalize that all guys are talking to two people at once now?

If you are currently shaken this much due to trust issues, there may be bigger problems in the marriage. Honesty is fundamental in relationships, but going through something like this just three weeks before entering marriage isn’t healthy. You need to speak clearly and get a reassuring explanation.

They might be confused or thinking about the past. Such things happen with wedding stress, but it’s still not nice

This marriage won’t work.

Now just imagine having a fiancé who says, ‘shame on you’ to that old flame! They must be saying something like, ‘I’ve confronted everything I said to you in the past, my old love.’
