I talked about birth control at the pharmacy, and it turns out my neighbor was behind me!

They say such things of adversity, and it really happened to me. I wanted to try a birth control method on the advice of my doctor. I went to the pharmacy and asked in a soft voice, and the employee seemed to not understand and kept asking me to repeat. Anyway, we talked in detail, and when I was leaving, I noticed that the neighbor lady was standing behind me waiting in line. I panicked so much that she would remember my face that I forgot my wallet while rushing out of the pharmacy. Has anyone ever experienced something like this? What should I do in such a situation?

I once had a shock at the store for just this reason. I was buying condoms at the checkout when our neighbor, Aunt Arzu, was in front of me. She turned around and said, 'Did we get some for you too?' Instead of being embarrassed, I burst out laughing and said, 'No, I'm leaving them for you.' In situations like these, I think it's best to just laugh it off.

It's completely normal to want some privacy in these matters. A pharmacy is a public place after all, and anyone can overhear something. But remember, birth control is entirely about you and your partner's health. Don't hesitate to ask, and if you're unsure about anything, you can always turn to your doctor. Even if people have heard something, it often seems like their own lives at that moment, and no one will make a big deal out of it.

But I think you shouldn't make such a big deal out of it. What will happen, after all, every person goes through this. Your neighbors didn't live like angels in their previous life either. Instead of running away, if they had turned around and said, 'You’re young, does it have to be so public?' you would have just said 'Sure,' and it would have been over.

Let me add this, I usually don't blush, I also often ask the doctor these kinds of things, but when I saw that lady, I panicked. She was only there for at most 2 minutes, but it really bothered me. Anyway, I went and got my wallet, and the guy was still laughing. I gave him the wrong card, and I ended up causing a POS issue as well. What a mess.

It doesn't make much sense, though. Sure, you might feel embarrassed, but who is the neighbor lady anyway? You're not revealing state secrets; you're just picking up a package of medicine. She probably isn’t just getting water either. I don't understand why people exaggerate so much.
