I got caught by my neighbor at the pharmacy, I felt so embarrassed

I went to the pharmacy today and experienced a very uncomfortable situation. Just as I was talking to the pharmacist and asking for the pill for the next day, my neighbor from the apartment came out. I was so tense that I didn't even know what to say. You should have seen the look on their face; they literally scanned me from head to toe. Do you think I'm just exaggerating in my head, or does everyone really talk?
