I secretly opened a boutique from my spouse, but things got out of hand

Honestly, I didn’t expect this much either. I started selling little things on Instagram because I was bored at home, but right now I’m actually earning more than from my main job. My spouse still thinks it’s just a hobby, but soon I’ll need to get a tax certificate or something. I have no idea how I’m going to explain that. On one hand, I’m happy, but on the other hand, I’m a bit anxious.

I swear, in this case, you’re going to learn it anyway, so tax plates and all that aren’t a joke. Just explain directly that it’s not a hobby. The fact that your earnings surpass your main job usually appeals to most men, so why are you hesitating?

I experienced the same thing; I had a jewelry business too, and at first, my spouse said it was just a hobby. I literally showed the bank statements when the boutique grew and explained it that way. At first, they were surprised, but then they supported me anyway.

So what do you think his reaction would be when he sees that he earns more than from his main job? Did you talk to an accountant before getting a tax certificate or anything? What are the procedures like?
