3I swear, in this case, you’re going to learn it anyway, so tax plates and all that aren’t a joke. Just explain directly that it’s not a hobby. The fact that your earnings surpass your main job usually appeals to most men, so why are you hesitating?
I experienced the same thing; I had a jewelry business too, and at first, my spouse said it was just a hobby. I literally showed the bank statements when the boutique grew and explained it that way. At first, they were surprised, but then they supported me anyway.
So what do you think his reaction would be when he sees that he earns more than from his main job? Did you talk to an accountant before getting a tax certificate or anything? What are the procedures like?
