Today, while browsing Instagram, I noticed a notification that caught my attention. My girlfriend liked a photo of her ex with someone new. At first, I thought it might be a mistake, but then it stuck in my mind. Honestly, why did she do this? Is she trying to show it to someone, or is she feeling nostalgic? I’m thinking about asking her about it, but I’m afraid of coming off as obsessive. How should I approach this?

my ex used to do things like that too, always trying to get attention. it’s definitely not normal.

I don’t understand why this topic is being blown out of proportion; talking about exes is always a hassle anyway.
This kind of behavior is sometimes done out of complete indifference. However, it would be best to calmly ask if there is another motivation behind it, rather than directly accusing.
