I noticed my content has been stolen, what should I do?

My pictures and writings are often shared by others without my name being mentioned. Especially, someone keeps doing this, and when I block them, they continue with troll accounts. Should I file a lawsuit, or is it not worth the trouble? Has anyone experienced something like this before?

I went through the same trouble for a while, especially since they were taking photos from my gallery and sharing them without my name. At first, I sent a direct message, but they didn't care. I went to a lawyer, we sent a few warnings, and suddenly they stopped sharing. Honestly, it can be a bit of a hassle, but it gets results.

To do this, you can first file a report for content theft. For example, report the copyright infringement to the platform they shared it on, most platforms have a form for this. If you don't get results, consult a lawyer to prepare a lawsuit. They usually don't even engage with the matter.

But your being a bit careless might have made it easier for them. For example, do you put your name or a mark on the places where you share your writings or images? Unfortunately, if you present them without any protection, they steal them 😬

I want to add this: Actually, I add my name or signature everywhere, but that person somehow cuts them out or blurs them. It's really frustrating that they continue with a troll account. I tried the platform's reporting system, but I didn't get any response.

It actually seems like there is a serious copyright infringement at play. If they are intentionally and knowingly removing your name, it creates both ethical and legal issues. Seeking legal advice and sending a formal notice through a notary would be a concrete step. You can also request correspondence from social media companies.

I think it's really strange that this person keeps going on with their troll accounts. Could it be someone who knows you? Just think about it, their persistence doesn't seem normal for a regular follower. I don't know, I suggest you think about it a bit more 😂
