I’ve been growing my hair for a year. I went to the hairdresser yesterday and specifically said, ‘Don’t cut even 1 cm, just trim the ends.’ The guy’s scissors just opened, and he literally cut 10 cm. Now my hair feels incredibly short to me. He looks in the mirror and says, ‘We just tidied it up,’ but I see something completely different. What should I do in situations like this? There’s no going back.
the same happened to me, really. I told them to take it from the ends, and they cut it to ear level. those guys don’t even know how to measure in centimeters. I switched to another hairdresser right away.
Has this happened before at the same hairdresser?
@soncaykaldi yes, last time he took a little extra too, but not this much. I gave him a chance and did it again.
Well, you have some talking to do too; you gave it a chance and went, but it’s the same result again. That’s just his way, it’s clear.
In hairstyling, there is actually a concept called ‘millimeter aesthetics.’ If they’re saying they will just trim the ends but end up cutting 10 cm, that’s completely poor service. You can file a complaint about this.
Something really bothers me, you know? Isn’t it a bit strange for him to say ‘I just took it from the edges’ while looking in the mirror and adjusting his attitude? The guy is stubborn.
You say it’s 10 cm, but did you actually measure it? Sometimes it can look different when something appears short. Don’t be unfair, maybe it’s not that much.
There wasn’t such a problem in the past; apparently, everything has become about speed. Customers who want details are not being attended to.
look at those women hairdressers. men generally cut more carelessly like this.
You ask the real question. In my opinion, someone who says ‘I took it from the ends’ and cuts 10 cm has shown their intention from the start. Why did they cut so much, is there an explanation for it?
