My skin is wrecked after wearing a mask, is that normal?

I tried a face mask two weeks ago; it was a homemade thing they said was natural, but my skin literally went haywire. I've never had this many pimples in my life. Am I the only one who reacted this way, or do these natural products affect everyone differently? What do you recommend? What should I do to recover?

Once, I was recommended a homemade mask, it was a yogurt and olive oil mixture, and my skin was ruined. I went to the doctor, and they said, 'even if it's natural, it can cause an allergy.' What was in your mask, what exactly did you put in it?

I once made a natural honey mask myself, and my skin had redness for days. That's why you should buy a product that will soothe your skin instead of a mask; just ask at the pharmacy, for example. Not everything made at home is safe, you know 😳.

Come on guys, ease up on this natural product hostility. Are the chemical ones really better? Is ruining your skin with chemicals and running to the doctor somehow healthier? Let’s first look at the ingredients being used and talk about it accordingly.

Just because something is natural doesn't mean it's always good. Homemade mixtures may not have the right pH balance, which can harm the skin barrier. Acne could be a result of this. I think you should see a dermatologist; they can recommend supportive products.

Let me give you an update, the mask had yogurt, baking soda, and lemon in it. They recommended it saying "it has tons of benefits," so I tried it. Now the spots are all red and a bit burning. To be honest, I'm done with homemade masks.

This is happening because of those who irresponsibly suggest natural mask recipes to people. No one's skin is a testing ground. Ask the person making these suggestions if their skin had the same results, or if nothing happened to them? It's truly serious irresponsibility.

I hope you're feeling better! Baking soda really peels the skin off, and it burns like acid when you put lemon on top. When you wake up in the morning and feel that burning sensation, it really puts you in a state of despair, doesn't it? In such situations, I use thermal water spray and apply moisturizer.

Now some will take a stand and say 'baking soda is quite natural and effective,' and I wouldn't be surprised. I think people need to pause and think before they rub lemon on their skin just because it's natural. Instead of putting lemon, yogurt, or something like that on your skin, why not try something that's actually tested for your face?
