Is it normal for my boss to keep telling my story in the office?

Patronum is learning about my private life this way and telling everyone in the office as if it’s a joke. I shared something on social media once, but I don’t know if that’s where he got it from. Now everyone has heard about my request to raise my salary. Is this kind of thing normal, and how can I put a stop to it?

Look, this is definitely not professional behavior. Go directly to your boss and tell them about your discomfort, clearly stating that they shouldn’t share such personal matters. You could even put it in writing, it might come in handy later :woman_shrugging:
