It’s like they’re watching over me every minute, interfering with every detail of the email I sent. I’m in a ridiculous situation. Today they made some stupid comment about my personal life and it really got on my nerves, but I can’t quit my job in this economic climate. I have no idea how to deal with this kind of narcissistic person.

2even correcting the placement of the comma in the email is downright exploiting a person’s self-esteem. On top of that, encroaching on their personal life has become totally outrageous.
Rather than being narcissistic, it seems that the person’s own manager is probably putting a lot of pressure on them. Honestly, it feels like they are taking out their frustration on you by hovering over you.
