My girlfriend said there's no need for aesthetics
I've been uncomfortable with my nose for a long time, but I could never bring myself to have surgery. I mentioned it to my girlfriend recently, and she said, 'You don't really need it; you'll regret it if it looks artificial later.' On one hand, I agree with her; I'm afraid I'll feel bad if the outcome is the opposite of what I expect. But on the other hand, I see and think about how unhappy I am with my nose every day in the mirror. How much do you think a partner's opinions like this affect a decision like this? Should I take her thoughts into account?
