Last week I went to a job interview and found the salary for the position to be quite low. I clearly expressed this during the interview and asked for a higher amount. When I got home, I told my girlfriend about it, but her reaction shocked me. She said, ‘Do you really need to be this greedy?’ and criticized me for taking the risk of losing the job. However, I just wanted to receive an offer that matched my efforts. Do you think it’s normal for my girlfriend to talk like this? Or is it too much for me to expect support from her on career-related matters?
