What the boss said after the meeting was unsettling

Today, after a meeting at the company, my boss called me to his office for a private discussion. At first, I thought we would talk about something work-related, but this conversation was completely personal. He implied a lot of things about everything from my clothing style to my work approach, and even subtly criticized me in some areas. What he said about my clothing style especially made me very uncomfortable. Do you think it would be right to bring this situation to HR, or should I not make a big deal out of it? I'm uncertain because I think this could somehow reflect back on me.
