My period is 8 days late, I took tests from two different pharmacies and both came back negative. But I have sensitivity in my breasts, nausea, and so on. I always have a doubt in my mind. Has anyone experienced something like this before? What should I do, should I go to the doctor or wait a bit longer?

8My period was also 10 days late, the test came back negative but a week later I took it again and it was positive. The hormone level might be low, that’s why it might not have shown up early. I think you should wait a few days and try again.
The same thing happened to me, there was sensitivity in my breasts, but it turned out it wasn’t pregnancy. Apparently, it was stress-related, and the tests didn’t come out wrong. But I suggest you get a blood test just to be sure.
I’m sorry, but I think you’re stressing unnecessarily. If you got 2 negative tests, it’s very likely that you’re not pregnant. Not every nausea or sensitivity means pregnancy; it would be better if you calmed down first.
Pharmacy tests are not 100% reliable and can be misleading, especially in the early stages. A beta HCG blood test gives a definitive result; given these symptoms, the most logical choice is to get a blood test.
I’ll add this as well, usually my periods are very regular, and I haven’t experienced any stress lately. That’s why this feels a bit strange. I think I will consider getting a blood test.
It’s already been 8 days, so if you’re feeling nauseous, there’s no point in waiting. If you’re pregnant, an early diagnosis is important as well. I agree with those who say to get a blood test; just go and get it done to ease your mind.
Sweetheart, we shouldn’t drag these things out too much. If there’s a pregnancy, we need to know as soon as possible; if not, then let’s clear it up. You’ll be careful to avoid gossip in the neighborhood anyway. I suggest you clarify it with a blood test.
I totally get you; with that sensitivity in your breasts, your mind keeps going there. Once you get the blood test done and things are clearer, you’ll feel more at ease. But honestly, I think all this waiting is really exhausting. If there’s anything wrong, it can be addressed right away.
