My ex started following me on social media multiple times, and honestly, this situation bothers me. I had cut off all ties with him, but this is making me think. What do you think, why is he following me again after all this time? Could there be a reason?

Maybe they are doing it to show that they can’t forget something, but instead of silently following up, they need to address it openly. Blocking is a last resort—why not draw a clear boundary with a direct message first? If they don’t back off, then you can consider that.
