Is it possible to lose weight without starving, or is that just a fairy tale?

The dietitian says I can lose weight by staying full, but sometimes I literally can’t sleep from hunger… Is there something wrong somewhere, or am I expecting too much? Honestly, my mind is all over the place. How do you handle this crisis?

I used to think I was managing to stay full for a while, always complaining about being hungry, but it turned out my daily protein intake was insufficient. My dietician said, “If you don’t have a full stomach, you won’t have a full mind either,” so I started paying more attention to snacks. I suggest you get it checked; maybe you have a similar deficiency.

Honestly, you need to look for the fault in yourself here. The dietitian says you can lose weight without going hungry, yet you say you can’t sleep because you’re starving. This means you’re either not following their advice properly or exaggerating something. It’s probably not a fairy tale, but there’s definitely something wrong in your application.

Actually, logically everything is based on the calories you consume biologically and the energy you expend. That’s why a balanced diet plan is important. If you’re really feeling hungry, I recommend checking the carbohydrate and fiber levels. The things that should keep you full might be lacking.

I’ve realized while thinking about the responses I’ve received that I’m rushing through my lunches a bit. For example, I’m only eating salad and not adding any protein. I mentioned this to the dietitian, but I think I need to talk to them again. Maybe the issue is coming from here.

If you just say you’re eating salad and move on, it’s very normal to feel hungry. It’s clear that you’re not preparing a proper meal. A nutritionist will tell you, and if you implement it inadequately, of course, you’ll go hungry. I don’t think there’s a fairy tale side to this; it just seems like a lack of discipline to me.
