Do these pants make me look heavy?

My legs aren’t actually that thick, but I always feel a bit strange when I wear tight pants. Especially since my mom keeps saying, “your legs aren’t suitable,” but I like them. I wonder how others see them, am I doing something wrong? Is there such a thing as choosing pants based on leg type? Do you hang out like this?

I felt the same way as you, especially since my mom kept saying, ‘baggy pants look better on you.’ But then I looked at myself more closely in the mirror and realized it didn’t actually look bad. Maybe you should try looking in a different mirror for more details :woman_facepalming:

But I can’t say your mom is wrong either, because there’s no rule that says everyone can wear a piece of clothing they really love. Maybe it’s just not suitable for your body type? Have you tried another style, for example? Why are you so set on wanting something tight? :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:

Wide-leg pants generally look more balanced on hourglass or slim long legs. If the upper part of your legs is thicker, you might want to try straight fit or mom jeans instead of skinny. They provide a more comfortable and proportional look :smiling_face_with_tear:

Friends, I’ve noticed something; I usually wear oversized t-shirts with skinny jeans. Maybe I’m not achieving a balance as you said. I’ll take a look at mom jeans, but I don’t want to give up wearing tight clothes completely. Do you have any other combination suggestions?

To be honest, I was only wearing skinny jeans for a while because my friends always preferred them. But then I switched to bootcut styles that made my legs look longer. Give it a try, it might look great on you too!

When you look in the mirror wearing those pants, there’s that whole “have I made it or not” confusion, it’s driving me insane. I think you should play around with the outfit more, I mean maybe if you balance it out differently on top, your mind will be clearer. Especially adding a thin belt could make your waistline look more pronounced.
