My fiancé told me I shouldn’t wear a wedding dress at the wedding. According to him, it’s too much expense and showiness. But since I was little, my dream has always been to wear a wedding dress like a princess. Now he wants me to wear a simple white dress. 5Honestly, I have always dreamed of those princess dresses with tails ever since I can remember. Weddings are already expensive affairs, but it’s something you only do once in your life, so I don’t understand why you’re cutting back so much. I think you should speak openly about it because it’s your dream, after all; you don’t get to be a bride every day.
Did the families put pressure while making this decision or was it completely his idea? On one hand, I thought it could be related to his family, since you mentioned it’s complicated.
@meraklice Actually, his family thinks a bit like him too. They say ‘wedding dress is unnecessary’, but my family is just the opposite, quite traditional, so I’m caught in between
